Videographer Job in Chicago, Illinois

Looking for a videographer to collaborate on capturing travel content showcasing Chicago on my social media platforms. We have the option to either utilize my cell phone or your professional equipment for recording purposes. The idea is to capture my experiences as I explore various attractions, hotels, restaurants, and neighborhoods. While I've used a tripod in the past, I'm now looking for a more dynamic approach, which is why I'm eager to hire someone rather than rely solely on the tripod. What's really important to me is finding someone who can provide direction. I'm not just looking for someone to operate the camera; rather, I desire a collaborator who can suggest the best angle, poses, optimal lighting, and so forth. Above all, I'm seeking someone who can create a comfortable atmosphere. Beyond technical skills, I value someone who's enjoyable to work with and can help me feel relaxed and natural in front of the camera. Since the content will be in Portuguese, the videographer must be comfortable shooting footage in a language they may not understand. This could lead to a long-term collaboration for the entire year, involving three recording sessions per month, each lasting 6 to 8 hours. If things go well, there's potential to expand to content for my YouTube channel, which would require additional recording days. Editing won't be necessary; I simply need the footage captured.
