Cover Letter My name is Mustafa Khalifa, and I am writing in regards to the position Video Producer. I have a wide range of experience (7 years) in Filmmaking as a Director, Videographer, Producer, Editor. I have experience working and living in different countries and and I'm familiar with the varying cultures and their inherent sensitivities. I have a keen enthusiasm for filmmaking, and I am able to complete tasks rapidly, with a keen eye for detail. I believe my accuracy and natural talent for storytelling makes me an excellent candidate for this position. I moved to Los Angeles from Dubai in September of 2015 to achieve more dreams in Filmmaking that I couldn't achieve back home because of numerous barriers that I felt were stifling my creativity. In 2010 I had obtained a BA degree in Law from the University of Ain Shams in Cairo, Egypt. After practicing Law for over a year, I decided this was not the career for me, and began to pursue my true passion: Filmmaking. As you can see from my resume, I have extensive education in Filmmaking, including a Script writing, from Berlinale Talents in 2014. I was honored to have been chosen by Durban International Film Festival to attend the Script-Station workshop, based on my short film, “Price of a Wife”. Additionally, I was chosen to attend the Filmmaking and Writing workshop in 2014 by The American Director Haile Gerima in Luxor African Film Festival. I was selected of all the candidates in Egypt, based again, on my short film, “Price of a Wife”.
