Videographer in Detroit, Michigan
I graduated from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Michigan where I got my bachelor’s degree in Television and Digital Media Production. My love for behind the scenes started when I was 14 years old and received my first camera. This is when I fell in love with behind the camera work. I followed this passion and took courses in high school; these classes were intense in postproduction. This is when I found my love for editing. At my university, I’ve taken many courses in pre-production, production, and postproduction. I have even had the opportunity to produce content within a studio.
Since starting my degree, I’ve completed an internship with Jump Editorial in Los Angeles, California. Throughout this internship, I was in charge of making rough edits for the main editor. I maintained contact with legal teams to ensure our content could be used. I was also in charge of client services and media management. I also Interned for a production company in Grand Rapids, where I was in charge of editing our videos and getting them to our clients quickly.
Through my previous editorial internship experiences, I’ve learned to work within a professional office setting, build my skills within video editing and assist in production assistant roles. I’ve also learned how to work within a team, deliver projects within strict deadlines, and have a positive attitude no matter the obstacle.
Thank you for your time and consideration and I look forward to hearing back from you.
