Videographer in Denver, Colorado

My work has taken me to every state, except Alaska. I have shot everything from US Olympic Swimming Championships, to the Men's College World Series and have even worked on sets for Travel Channel shows including "Man V Food Nation" and "Food Wars". However, my biggest accomplishment was touring the country with Wounded Warriors Family Support, where I visited the lower 48 states in 30 days. This mission was a whirlwind fundraising tour where we talked to wounded veterans and donors about how important it is to support veterans coming back from war, especially those who become wounded in combat. We were able to raise over $1 million, which went towards sending wounded veterans and their families on vacations, all expenses paid. I currently work for KMTV Action 3 News, where I have been able to fine tune my shooting and editing skills. I helped launch our newest newscast, "Upfront at 4" which focuses more on community engagement stories, instead of the typical fires, shootings, car accidents and other hard news stories. With the help of our Chief Photographer, reporters and producers, we were able to establish exactly how we wanted this newscast to feel. We introduced such things as walking live shots, and using handheld cameras instead of static shots from a tripod. Another important aspect to this show is creating news packages with a lot of "nat-sound pops". I believe this helps the viewer actually feel like they are there with you, and not just watching another news story. I am hoping to take my experience and skill set to Colorado within the next few months
