I'm an
Individual
I'm a seasoned DP/photographer, and well-rounded filmmaker, available for freelance work. I own a Sony FS7 4K camera, with an array of cinema lenses, a Canon 5D3, and have excellent contacts for crew and production resources. Currently I have one narrative feature, "BC Butcher," which recently received distribution, and another, "Harpers Field" in post. My documentary film "Charles Lloyd: Arrows into Infinity" received distribution after running the festival circuit, and "8: The Mormon Proposition" received distribution as well, after a premiering at the 2010 Sundance film festival. Other docs include "Once in My Life," "The Old Ballgame," "Free Throw," & "Daytona Dream." I began my career mentoring under the direction of Mark Moormann on his feature film "Tom Dowd and the Language of Music" which premiered at Sundance in 2003. Another film, "Color of the I" has screened at the Short Film Corner at Cannes 2011. An easy-going demeanor allows me to work creatively with others while at the same time maintaining a firm work ethic and handling stressful situations with ease. I have an ability to collaborate with the director, bringing their vision to screen without imposing my ideas. Through lighting, lens selection and composition, my techniques of visual story telling are adaptable to any genre. My skills are also enhanced by my experience as an editor, pre-visualizing sequences and transitions on set. Additionally, I'm familiar with current post productions paths and can shepherd the project through to final deliverables.
