My name is John Morgan the VP of Sales and Talent Acquisition for Videoloco. We are a Production Studio that specializes in Video and Animation marketing for local and national businesses. Videoloco is building an extensive network of talented and experienced creatives to help service our rapidly expanding client base. If you are accepted to our exclusive network of Videographers, Editors, and photographers, we assist in providing projects and unique opportunities to gain both income and exposure. Below is an in depth job description of the ideal candidate with whom we are looking for. OVERVIEW Videoloco, a fast growing video production studio based in Chandler, Arizona is currently curating a talented stable of media professionals to complement our high standards of delivery to a broad range of clientele. We are in search of inspired and qualified professionals interested in working with a developing brand in a casual, but focused modern work environment. Our immediate requirements include roles for creatives with strong backgrounds in both editing and post-production, as well as production and camera work. Ideal candidates will demonstrate an ability to excel in both arenas, comfort in “shooting to edit”, and collaborating with colleagues to balance their strengths and weaknesses. Post Production Ideal post production and editing candidates will exhibit strengths in: Adobe Creative Cloud workflows, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator; color correction and color grading styles and techniques utilizing plug-ins such as the Magic Bullet Suite, and Lumetri; general motion graphics knowledge in After Effects, with a proficiency in creating clean, modern title sequences and lower-thirds; audio mixing and sound design, with an ear for choosing pertinent stock music; knowledge of specialized plug-ins such as Warp Stabilizer, Morph Cut, creating noise prints within Adobe Audition; and, an appreciation for thoughtful media management, especially when working with large project files. Exceptional, or specialized candidates with strong or unique expertise in advanced motion graphics and/or animation are sought after as well. Production Ideal candidates with strong backgrounds in production will exhibit expertise in: strong sense of composition, framing shots, attention to detail with focus and depth of field, and lens selection; background with higher end cinema cameras (Canon C300mkII, C100, RED, Sony FS7, FS5, etc.), shooting in 4K, and media managing large file transfers on set; proper lighting techniques and set-ups, and an ability to find creative solutions on the fly or in the studio; use of lavalier and shotgun microphones, and general audio recording techniques; experience with a variety of motion control methods, including programmable dolly systems and heads, and/or motion stabilizers (MoVi, Ronin, etc.); directing and coaching on-screen subjects; acting as a brand representative and liaison with clients while on-site; and, working with both small crews, as well as alone. Exceptional, or specialized candidates may also showcase experience with drones, photography, specialized grip knowledge, and green screen lighting. As a rapidly expanding startup, we are entertaining immediate offerings for both full-time employees, and part-time, or sub-contractor roles that may lead to long term stability in the future.
