Videographer Job in Rochester, New York

General Purpose:

Under general supervision this position will assist in video editing for broadcast presentation by performing technical work to covert format of completed/edited products using MAC IOS.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

o Coordinate the production of video and audio needs to be used in weekly television broadcast.
o Schedule shoots, set up and operate cameras, lighting equipment, wireless microphones and other audio equipment, and monitor and adjust equipment during recording/taping sessions.
o Record and/or tape audio and video segments to produce promotional material.
o Create graphics in order to create a finished product.
o Prepare reports and maintain logs and files.
o Maintain repairs and troubleshoot equipment.
o Inventory and order supplies to ensure an adequate quantity is on hand when needed.

Competencies:
o Software: Final Cut Pro, Live Type and Quick Time Movie Player
o High proficiency with MAC
o Operate and maintain a variety of video editing equipment
o Work with technical and non-technical staff to organize and implement video projects
o Work to optimize workflow techniques to manage complex video projects
o Troubleshoot video products complications
o Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
o Remain current on the developments and applications of state of the art video production.
