Videographer in Detroit, Michigan

I am documentary filmmaker in Detroit, Michigan and director of Overseas Cowboy Films. I founded Overseas Cowboy Films as part of a life-long passion for travel, adventure, storytelling and film. My films are diverse in story and locale, but all explore the very common human experience in which decisions made with the best intentions don’t always lead us where we think we are going, but can result in remarkable outcomes. When not working on documentaries headed by the production company, I enjoy jumping onto other projects in various capacities. I have extensive experience in videography and editing and a special love for directing and producing. I've purposely tried to gain experience in different roles as each lend their own perspective to a given subject. No matter what role I am playing, I do my best to find the story in every project - whether it's a documentary project, a marketing shoot or even a wedding video. I recently finished directing a feature documentary about a janitor who become one Detroit's first African-American judges. Judge Damon Keith decided some of the nation's most controversial civil rights cases and today, at 95, still continues to serve on the bench. The film had its world premiere at Michael Moore's Traverse City Film Festival.
