I own a successful 360 video production company here in Franklin, TN and have worked on a variety of amazing projects. Our mission is to blend the creative with the innovative on every project to continue to be pioneers in the 360 video space. We have placed our camera rigs on the side of and inside exotic sports cars, ziplines, on a live performance stage, handheld in the middle of the desert, and even in the mouth of a few zoo animals ;) Why use our studio? Filming and directing in VR differs greatly from filming with traditional cameras. I have devoted my time to honing the methods and principles of shooting in VR to make sure each project is effective and beautiful. Making sure to insert cues whether audio or visual, to direct the attention of the viewer are skills that have not been trained by traditional directors but instead have been adopted by VR directors. Many of the principles found in live theater also apply to VR. Sometimes simply rotating a camera by a couple degrees can cause thousands of dollars of post work expense if the videographer doesn't understand or isn't experienced enough to operate different VR cameras. These are a couple of reasons why a highly specialized VR studio like myself is the smartest choice to make when deliberating your next VR project.
