On our marketplace, newsworthy videos and photos are instantly licensed to news outlets or distributors, and the image owner gets 50% of all license fees. Each news outlet must buy a license to use the imagery, and the owner gets half of each and every license fee. License rates range from $10 for a photo licensed by a small digital news site, to several thousands for licensing by the AP for distribution.
