Greetings! My name is Samir, and I am a freelance/contract photographer and videographer. I was born in Orange County, California where I discovered my love for photography and film in high school. I spent my summer breaks working as a production assistant on various small and large scale productions, and from there, I attended California State University where I studied Film and Television Production with an emphasis on Cinematography. One of my achievements while attending CSUF was doing Production Design, Set Design, and was an Assistant Cameraman for Lucid 8 (2013) which was accepted into the Newport Beach Film Festival. After graduating, my work has helped many companies market their products in the social media driven world we now live in. I contributed my skills to help one company create an online educational seminar that garnered $50,000 in sales and over 100,000 views in six-to-eight months. I also worked on a project for HoneyBaked Ham doing culinary photography for their holiday catalog. They used these photos for the past several years in their catalog. From portraits and culinary photography to live events and green screens. I am confident being a one man production team or a hard working member of the crew.
