Videographer in San Marcos, Texas

I'm an
Agency / Company
https://....com As a lifelong hunter/outdoorsman, as well as a recent graduate of the Texas State Electronic Media program and KLRU TV-Austin PBS internship program, I am eager to begin my career in the world of outdoor television. I am determined to make a career for myself in media and outdoor television. I returned to school, and completed my most recent degree with the singular goal of one day contributing to and working in the world of outdoor television. I have nearly two years of experience working in University level television and video production. I recently graduated from Texas State University with my second undergraduate degree. The degree, Electronic Media, focused on video production and journalism. I also recently completed the internship program for KLRU TV-Austin PBS. At this position, we assisted in all aspects of studio tapings, remote shoots, social media presence, and certain areas of post-production. For the past year and a half, I have also worked for the ITS Media Production Department at Texas State. My primary role in this department was as videographer for event related productions. I also collaborated with producers on a day to day basis in a variety of other roles. These roles included camera operator for multi-camera live studio productions, as well as assistant camera, audio, and grip for documentary and film style productions. I also played a role in editing and creating deliverables for our clients. In addition, I have worked on all sides of the Texas State news program, Bobcat Update. Through my Video Production class, we learned the studio side of a TV program; studio camera operation, master control, directing, technical directing, studio lighting, etc. Through my TV News class, we learned the other side of a TV program; pitching stories, shooting in the field, editing our own stories, speaking on camera, writing for media, etc. My coursework, jobs, and internship were all designed to teach me the skills needed to work as a videographer, and I believe they have served me well. I am fully committed to making a career for myself as a videographer, and I am willing and eager to put in the work. Please feel free to contact me at any time. Sincerely, Tyler Austin Dumas 120 Hunters Glen San Marcos, TX 78666 [email protected] (713) 25...
