Looking for Videographer EV Logistics, BC’s leading logistics’ warehouse is looking for a full-time contract visual storyteller that is part director; part sounds man and part editor. You’ll work in our Langley based warehouse to film a short video to describe the job duties within the warehouse. Whether it’s just-in-time produce, frozen products, locally-sourced health and beauty products, grocery or promotional items, we provide excellent service to our clients. With a combined workforce of almost 650 employees — one of the largest in the Fraser Valley — EV Logistics operates two distinct distribution centers, providing grocery distribution for one of Western Canada's largest grocery retailers. The Ambient facility opened in 2001, and after 2 expansion projects now operates a 485,000 sq ft dry goods warehouse. The Perishable facility began in Abbotsford’s landmark Baker Cold Storage, and in 2010 moved to their new location, now operating in a 380,000 sq ft refrigerated warehouse. Both distribution centres are located in the Gloucester Industrial Park, Langley, B.C, Canada. Duties and Responsibilities The videographer’s primary responsibilities include: • Facilitate the creation of videos from pre- to post-production, as well as live-production • Set up scenes, including properly lighting each set • Model a proficiency in filming • Lead shoots in terms of technical needs • Offer solutions in a variety of shooting circumstances • Must have their own videography equipment Days of Work: Monday to Friday; contract work till completion of project.
