Since graduating from the School of Visual Arts in NYC with an MFA in Visual Narrative (aka, storytelling) I have worked on a variety of film related projects. I've helped facilitate and capture footage for documentaries, directed and produced marketing content for companies such as Siemens Medical Solutions and worked on a myriad of other projects ranging from videos for educational purposes to films that have been screened at festivals. I have been working as a filmmaker/animator for 5 years now, with a deep knowledge of everything from the early planning to post production stages of filmmaking. With a background that focuses on telling a strong story visually, I approach each project with the intention of capturing more than visually appealing footage, taking great pride in working alongside my clients prior to a shoot through editing the final master, all with the intended audience and particular story at the forefront of all that I do. Additionally, I have all my own equipment consisting of: a Canon 70D, Manfrotto tripod, Camera Slider (for cinematic panning), large selection of Prime Lenses, selection of Zoom Lenses, Shotgun Mic (Sennheiser MKE 600) and related audio accessories, various lighting elements (with warmer and cooler lighting options to match light sources), a shoulder-rig/steady-cam, various Lens Filters, etc. On the post production side of things, I have a wide array of software knowledge, from the entire Adobe Creative Suite to Logic Pro X, Final Cut Pro X and more. I'm well versed with sound design, editing footage, color grading and adding in various effects as needed, as well as the basic workflow for film work.
