Videographer in Saint Cloud, Minnesota

I will be graduating next year with my bachelors in speech pathology, but my heart is in doing video editing. It would be a waste to switch now after completing 100 credits, almost 70 of which between my speech pathology major and early childhood education AAS. I want to finish this up, but I also don't want it to mean I can't be a videographer just because my major is completely different. I started doing videography three years ago when I brought my phone to class (who doesn't) and recorded some video. I had no intention of making a video until I got a mac a year later and played with iMovie. I enjoyed it and my classmates seemed to really love it. It all took off from there. I self taught myself how to use Final Cut Pro X and Adobe Premiere. I've done over 30 videos since then, some semi-professionally for different organizations, but most of them have been fun videos I put together using what's more or less home video clips. I would love an opportunity to work with a videographer and learn from professionals. It could be an unpaid internship, job shadowing or maybe lead to a paid job in the future, but right now I just want an opportunity. Is there anyone that who would be willing to be my mentor?
