Hi my name is Nick, I'm currently offering paid help as a Film Editor or Audio Engineer. I've studied film for three years, and my experience in the industry is very broad. I understand on some level all aspects of the film making process including the preparation that goes into pre-production, the process that goes into production which involves lighting and directing, right through to sound design/editing in post-production. My knowledge in film includes: Script writing Story boarding Cinematography Lighting Camera Operation Directing Sound Design Original Music Scoring (as a songwriter) Editing Typography Software experience in: Photoshop After Effects Premiere Pro Final Cut pro Sony Vegas A unique ability of mine is to create pieces of work that surpass the materials it took to make them. In other words I can create something with very little, and make it look big. Photoshop (photo manipulation on desired images) > After Effects (animate these images) > Premiere Pro (to be edited with music). My experience includes operating live sound for a band on numerous occasions in Northeast Ohio, and I've also created and mixed a countless number original songs. Editing and mixing is the greatest talent that I can offer. Software experience in: Pro-tools - Recording, mixing, and mastering Reaper - Recoring, mixing, and mastering Sony Acid - Recording, mixing, and mastering I can honestly say that I'm capable of intuitively running any DAW (digital audio workstation) that is available, even if I don't have any prior experience with it.
