I am a Los Angeles based producer. I originally started with shorts, now I cover all areas of film and production. I guess I could say I love creating!I am a true Independent film maker. I used to look at all the Major labels as something that I aspired to get a deal at or be a part of eventually. But through my film making and understanding of marketing and realizing I have a world wide audience at my fingertips, I said To "" with dealing with these Major labels and scrounging for a deal when really I will be losing ownership of my intellectual property and my integrity as a film maker because I am only making movies that I feel have the message I am trying to convey and the mainstream Media is not in line with my thought process of film making and the ideas I wish to express. I realized that I can make hundreds of thousands of dollars making my own movies being that I write them Star in all my movies, Direct them and Edit them. I have all my own film equipment and full studio to film my own movies, So as Malibu Slimm, Decided that Malibu Slimm films was the only way from to go, . I like to bring forth the things that people don't usually see in movies and my mind may change in the middle of filming and I decide to go an entirely different direction than I planned in the beginning, and I can't do that if I am a Slave with a noose (Contract) around my neck.
