Riley Engemoen is a documentary filmmaker and photographer based out of Austin, Texas. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at Austin in 2012 with a major in Radio, Television and film, specializing in film production. He has done cinematography on a wide range of commercial and nonprofit documentary productions for Warner Brothers, the National Nature Conservancy, Participant
Media and others. He shot and edited for an HBO sequel documentary on “Atomic Ed” about nuclear junkyards, working with internationally renowned documentary filmmaker Ellen Spiro. His work has received various awards, including the SXSW 2012 “films for the forest” competition and the 2013 “Lights, Camera, Help” film festival, a nationally recognized film festival raising money for the Nature Conservancy. In 2014 he worked on Yakona, a multi award winning film garnering seven awards including the coveted SXSW Visions Audience Award at it's World Premiere in Austin, TX. He is currently in post-production for a feature Documentary, Pedal South, following his 14,000 mile bicycle ride from Alaska to Argentina.
