Edgar Miller Legacy (EML) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation based in Chicago, IL, and is dedicated to achieving a multi-faceted arts education program revolving around the history of the late artist and designer Edgar Miller and the use of a Miller-designed home called the Glasner Studio, in the city’s Old Town neighborhood. Summary: EML seeks a videographer and sound media technician to assist leading the video and sound recording of a lecture series at DePaul Art Museum. Hosted by EML, this series will include a multi-media, PowerPoint lecture and an open forum Q&A session for a 90-minute total presentation. The series will take place across three separate dates, Thursdays, October 4th, October 25th, and November 29th, 2018 from 5:00 – 7:30 PM. Applicants are asked to be able to participate in at least one of these dates, multiple dates preferred. Scope of Work: Videographer will be asked to video and audio record the event at a high quality level for the duration of the event(s). Operates video cameras, on location, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming. Completes trouble and preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment. All video and audio recording will be facilitated with Edgar Miller Legacy equipment.
